This is a site created to provide more information on Gurpreet Singh Burmi, or Guri Burmi as he is more popularly known, regarding his candidacy for the Morrisville Town Council representing District 2. Guri is committed to keeping Morrisville moving forward on the path to managed growth, development and prosperity. He would like to leverage his skills, connections and experience to make Morrisville a better place to live for all its residents and future generations.

Guri is a Sikh American. His faith teaches him to give back to community by devoting his time and energy to help make life better for not just his family but for all his neighbors. His turban and appearance are a constant reminder to him to always do what is right and never to stand down in the face of what is wrong.

He and his wife, Manpreet, have called Morrisville their home for 13 years now and they have lived in the Triangle area since 2001. Both their precious daughters Tia and Ikroop were born, raised and go to school here.
